All of our courses are accredited and certificated by Active IQ, the leading awarding body in the fitness industry and are recognised by the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs).
We offer three course options to get you started on a new career path within the fitness industry, all of which can be completed on a full-time (Monday to Friday) or part-time (weekends) basis:
The Freedom PT Training Diploma in Advanced Personal Training
This course allows learners who are new into the field of fitness to obtain an accredited qualification in fitness instruction along with a qualification in personal training. Graduates of the course will be able to enter the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS) at level 3 and will be able to practice as a personal trainer in addition to being qualified to work in a gym setting. This increases the earning potential for those looking for a career in the fitness field.
Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym)
This option is available to learners who are keen to take the first step towards working in the fitness industry. Upon completion you will be able to work in a gym setting as a qualified Fitness Instructor and enter REPS at Level 2. However, most learners find that it is worth considering completion of the Diploma qualification due to the additional earning potential this provides as a qualified personal trainer.
Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training
This option is available to learners who have already achieved the Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (or equivalent). You will be able to transfer across the units completed at Level 2 and complete an additional four units to achieve the level 3 Certificate. Upon completion you will be able to work as a pesonal trainer, either in a gym or freelance and enter REPS at level 3.
